Sophie Yang

Sophie is a fashion designer and entrepreneur, she has resided in Europe for 18 years, during which time she received an education as a classical pianist.
In 2009, she channeled her artistic talents into the fashion industry, founding her own clothing brand, "Sophie Yang Berlin." Her designs have been worn by Oscar winners and have been featured in many movies, red carpet events and magazines. They have been distributed in boutiques across Europe and North America.
Sophie's lifelong passion for the cultural exchange between East and West has been a driving force in her career. She is deeply committed to fostering connections and understanding between these diverse cultures. This dedication led to the creation of "Brú" a concept born from her desire to build meaningful bridges between Europe and China, blending the rich traditions and modern innovations of both regions.
Timo Bey
Co-Founder
Timo Bey is an entrepreneur and investor with a strong focus on finance and investments, driven by a lifelong passion for cultural exchange and artistic expression that began with founding his own dance school 14 years ago. He analyzes potential target companies, manages investments and portfolios, and handles investor relations. Timo spends most of his time in Asia (China, Central and Southeast-Asia).
In addition to his primary role, Timo holds other positions: Senator at BWA (Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade), and lecturer in investment and finance at a private university in Cologne. He mentors several startup accelerators and fosters cultural exchange initiatives.
Previously, Timo was VP Investment at an impact venture capital firm in Cologne and Head of Finance & Controlling and investment banker in M&A. His entrepreneurial background combines experience in finance and law, with a deep appreciation for the arts and intercultural dialogue.
